At STAR POINTE, learning is brighter, bolder, and better. We know this because we asked thousands of Hampton Roads area tweens and teens what they wanted in their educational experiences. Then, we designed the school of their dreams where learning is fun, full of color, engaging, and nestled in real-life applications allowing learners the freedom and trust to pursue the topics and skills they love. Our mission is to develop confident, creative, and intensely self-driven college and career-bound adolescents who will blossom into a deep, personal relationship with Christ, develop a heart for service, and who will be sought out for their international level of expertise, ideas, and entrepreneurial endeavors.

It's a fact...every student is different with their own set of life dreams and passions. Here at STAR POINTE, we champion diversity and individualism by drafting a customized, edusocial plan for each student that outlines their educational and social pathways along with instructional implications and engagement suggestions.
To support these plans, we have set our academic schedule to include custom courses instead of mere electives and on Wednesdays we give students the opportunity to carry out design thinking projects that interest them the most.
Students enjoy working in bright and open spaces with plenty of room to reorient the furniture and collaborate with their peers. Research has shown that the classroom environment greatly impacts student achievement and academic motivation. This remains to be the center of our strategy to create
contemporary learning zones.
Our school has an impressive interior design layout that features a very cool
Maker Studio and Coding Garage, Learning Hives, Flexible Learning Spaces, Innovation Hub, Design Dorm that also functions as a Music Gym, a Writer's Cove, an English Class Coffee Shop, an Elementary Academy for Young Scholars, a High School Headquarters, a School Store, Science Lab, plus lots more creative learning areas.
